Human interaction is a dying art
Put down the phone and engage is a start
Thoughts, words, memories and fears
Unspoken, ignored or repressed through the years
The chaos that is this fast paced world
Being seen but not heard is the way that most feel
“I write because nobody listens” is tagged with a spray
Down an alley, on a wall to be discovered one day
I quiet the noise in a shroud of soft white
A glimpse of the voice beneath an ethereal light
Looking for peace in an over stimulated world
Longing to be heard so we let out a yell
Posting and selfies, see? the world is ideal
Truth finally spoken…our lives become real
